74ter Substitution of lost or destroyed title deed of rights to minerals (1) If a title deed of the rights to minerals has been lost or destroyed and the registration duplicate thereof has also been lost or destroyed, the registrar may on written application by the holder of such rights, issue a certificate of rights to minerals in the prescribed form in lieu of the title deed which has been lost or destroyed. (2) The provisions of section 38 (2), (3), (4) and (5) shall mutatis mutandis apply in respect of the issue of such certificate. |
