48 Special provisions regarding a bond over land in a Rand township and other land (1) Where land situated in a township in the area of the deeds registry at Johannesburg is hypothecated together with other land not registered in that registration office, the bond shall be cancelled or that land or such other land be released from the bond before any other legal transaction in relation to that land or such other land is registered. (2) In subsection (1) 'bond' includes a charge in favour of the Land and Agricultural Bank of South Africa or any Department of State. |
